Transfer Station/Garbage Fees


Yearly Garbage Permit Card for July 1, 2019 thru June 30, 2020




The Transfer Station/Garbage Fee invoices will be mailed during May 2019. If you do not receive an invoice by May 31st please call the Municipal Building at 570-325-2769 or email at pftadmin2@ptd.net

Each household in the Township must obtain a Transfer Station/Garbage Permit unless a licensed Carbon County hauler has been contracted for trash pick-up at the household. If a licensed private hauler has been contracted; a copy of the paid contract MUST be submitted to the Township before June 30, 2019.

FEES FOR 2019-2020


Residential Permit      $50.00 (4 bags per week, 8 bag maximum per visit.
Full utilization of card allowed for permit year. One free bulk item per year)


Commercial Permit      $175.00 (8 bags per week, 16 bag maximum per visit.
Full utilization of card allowed for permit year. One free bulk item per year)


THERE WILL BE A $25.00 LATE FEE IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED BY JULY 1, 2019


Please note this is a MANDATORY FEE and each residential unit in Penn Forest Township will be invoiced for this fee whether you're a full time, part time resident or the home is unoccupied.
