The Transfer Station/Garbage Fee invoices will be mailed during November 2023. If you do not receive an invoice by November 30th please call the Municipal Building

Each household in the Township MUST obtain a Garbage Permit unless a licensed Carbon County hauler has been contracted for trash pick-up at the household. If a licensed private hauler has been contracted; a copy of the paid contract MUST be submitted to the Township before December 21, 2023.

FEES FOR 2024
Residential Permit: $150.00
4 bags per week, 8 bag maximum per visit. Full utilization of card allowed for permit year. Included with permit is one free bulk item.
Commercial Permit: $300.00
8 bags per week, 16 bag maximum per visit. Full utilization of card allowed for permit year. Included with permit is one free bulk item.
There will be a $25.00 LATE FEE if payment is not received by December 31st,2023
Please note this is a MANDATORY FEE and each residential unit in Penn Forest Township will be invoiced for this fee whether you’re a full time, part time resident or the home is unoccupied.
